RMS' Online Business Center Brings Collection Success to Hundreds in Just Months
June 8, 2010
Printer-Friendly Format

June 8, 2010 -- Headquarters/Bethlehem PA, U.S.A.
: RMS, the leader in business-to-business Accounts

RMS, the leader in business-to-business Accounts Receivable (A/R) management, introduced their online debt collection services nine months ago, providing commercial businesses with the opportunity to purchase individual claim collection services --without a contract or subscription -- through the company's internet web site Business Center. Of the hundreds of users to date, half have chosen to send their debtor either the single DebtAlert® Collection Letter or the series of DebtAlert® Collection Letters; with each subsequent message escalating the urgency for payment. The other half of the Online Business Center users chose the company's Personal Telephone Collection Services, which combines the power of the DebtAlert® Letter Series with the skillful efforts of one of the company's professional collection agents following up with personal telephone contact.

"As the creditor has already exhausted their collection efforts, resulting in these debts now being long past due, we're gratified to be able to provide them with such an easy-to-use, economical and effective alternative to simply writing these off," stated Darrel Hewson, RMS' Vice President of Business Development.

For the creditors who choose to send the DebtAlert® letters alone, debt payments are directed to be made directly to the creditor. Of the Personal Telephone Collection Services orders that RMS has processed, over 30% of these long overdue payments have been collected on and closed, with over half of those collected in full.

RMS handles all claims filed in appropriate compliance with FDCPA regulations, and all applicable state/local laws. RMS is also appropriately licensed and/or bonded in every international location in which we do business. All customer and debtor information is collected via a secure, easy-to-use web site to facilitate claim submissions including comments from the creditor and the ability for them to attach electronic file copies of their claim documentation. Payment for all services and products are made utilizing either a credit card or PayPal™ account for settlement.
