PRESS RELEASE
COMMERCIAL COLLECTION AGENCY ASSOCIATION
COMMERCIAL LAW LEAGUE OF AMERICA

The Commercial Collection Agency Association (CCAA) of the Commercial Law League of America reported that business-to-business accounts its members received during the first quarter of 2010 declined by approximately 12%. However, in the last twelve months CCAA members have received a record account placement with $17.5 billion in business-to-business accounts placed for collection.

Emil Hartleb, Executive Director stated, "This is another indication that things are improving in the economy. Delinquent business-to-business accounts creditors are placing for collection, have declined. CCAA members indicate that they anticipate that decline will continue through most of 2010."

Hartleb further added, "73% of CCAA members believe that in the next twelve months collectability of accounts place for collection will improve because of an improving economy."
